Chhath Puja is one of the most important cultural festivals celebrated in Vishnupur (Sitamarhi, Bihar). This year, a special initiative has been organized to connect culture with education through a children’s speech competition.
Chhath Puja is one of the most sacred Hindu festivals dedicated to Surya Dev (Sun God) and Chhathi Maiya. Devotees worship with faith, purity, and traditional rituals near rivers and ponds.
The festival lasts for four days including Nahay Khay, Kharna, Sandhya Arghya, and Usha Arghya.

The speech competition will be held on 28 October 2025 (Tuesday) from 6:00 PM.
The program will take place at Gandhi Chowk, Vishnupur, Sitamarhi.Bihar,india (843324)
Students aged 12–20 years can participate. Speech duration will be 3–10 minutes per participant.
All participants will receive certificates, medals, and special gifts.
Registration will remain open until 26 October 2025.
